CLUB AMENITIES
Rules & Etiquette
The Club at Pecan Grove rules and regulations were adopted by the Board of Governors on September 22, 2024 pursuant to Article I, Section 1.02 of the Club’s Bylaws in order to ensure proper utilization of Club facilities and common areas for the benefit of all.
Definitions
Members: All persons holding an equity or non-equity membership in the Club.
Guests: All residents of the Pecan Grove Municipal Utility District and non-residents of the District who do not hold memberships in the Club, and invited guests of Members.
Liability
All members and guests who use or visit the Club assume the risk of personal injury and/or loss of personal property. These persons agree to release the Club, its Board of Directors, and its employees from any and all liability for injury or loss. SMOKING All indoor areas are non-smoking and non-vaping.
Golf Dress Code
Men must wear shirts with collars at all times. Ladies must wear dresses, pants, shorts or skirts and tops. Ladies’ tops and dresses must have either collars or sleeves or both. Shorts must be Bermuda length or a style designed for golf. Golf shoes must have soft spikes to be worn on the course. The following types of clothing are prohibited: denim jeans of all types and designs, cutoffs, tennis shorts or running shorts, T-shirts, tank tops, and warm-up suits.
Dining Room Dress Code
Casual attire in good taste is appropriate in the dining room of the clubhouse. Denim is permitted in the Dining Room. All of the following types of clothing are prohibited in the dining area: cutoffs, tank-tops, swimsuits, cover-ups and muscle shirts.
Pets
No pets, other than service animals, will be allowed in the clubhouse. Pets may be allowed on the golf course only when confined to a member’s golf cart and only upon express approval by the Board of Directors.
Solicitations
No article of any kind shall be offered for sale, subscription solicited, contribution invited or advertisement displayed, unless first approved by the Board of Directors. No list of Club membership or membership roster shall be issued, published or used for any purpose except as authorized by the Board of Directors.
Interaction with Employees
No members or guests are permitted to discipline, order, or instruct employees at any time, nor are they allowed to send Club employees away from Club premises or require employees to report to their employment positions for any purpose without prior approval of Club management. Any suggestions regarding actions of or the conduct of an employee shall be brought to the attention of Club management.
Private Golf Carts
All private golf carts must be powered by electric motors and must be white or beige in color. Carts must not be fitted with after-market lift kits and may only have turf tires. However, all private carts in service on the date of adoption of these Rules and Regulations shall be deemed to be in compliance until such time as the cart is sold or retired from service. All private carts must bear a sticker evidencing the annual issuance of a private cart permit. Permits will be issued in January of each year upon execution of a liability waiver and indemnification by the cart owner and upon presentation of proof of insurance with The Club at Pecan Grove named as “additional interest”. No cart may be occupied by more than two persons while on the golf course.
Conduct
All members and guests are expected to exhibit professional and courteous behavior at all times while on the Club premises. Persons in violation will be reported to Club management and may be referred to the Board of Directors. Any member or guest in violation of this rule may be required by management to leave the premises.

Is Pecan Grove private or open to the public?
Both. We're a semi-private club — members get unlimited access to all 27 holes and every amenity on property, and we release public tee times daily for everyone else. You don't need to know a member to play here.
What is the dress code for the course and clubhouse?
We uphold a traditional golf dress code. Collared shirts and tailored shorts or slacks are required for gentlemen. Denim, athletic wear, and t-shirts are not permitted on the course or in The Grove Grille.
What's included with a membership?
Unlimited golf across all 27 holes, plus the pool, tennis courts, fitness center, and the full member event calendar. Your immediate family is covered under family memberships.
Do I have to play golf to be a member?
No. A lot of our families join for the pool, the courts, and the clubhouse, and never touch a club. Social memberships give you everything but the golf.
Do you host weddings and tournaments?
We do. The clubhouse and grounds handle weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, corporate outings, and charity tournaments, with one coordinator running the whole event from the tee sheet to the last table.
